Samsung Blackjack Hard Reset
I’ve been having a problem with my Samsung Blackjack for the last couple of days. The phone will only work for a little while after it was rebooted, then it won’t make or receive any calls or text messages. I decided to try a hard reset to see it would help; so far so good.
There are two ways to perform a hard reset.
1) The phone should be powered off first. With the phone off; press the Up Navigation button and the Power button at the same time. You will then be asked to format the Phone. Press 1 for YES!
2) You can also go to the Start menu and navigate to Settings/Security/Reset. Then, enter “0000″ for the password. The phone will format and reload the OS.
Be careful if you perform a hard reset, the storage and settings are wiped clean. It’s probably a good idea to remove the Micro SD card before performing the reset just to be safe.

Hi drew,
Is there anyway possible to restore my previous settings ands pics etc. after a hard reset. please say yes.

if you reboot it, will it still re-install the previous windows mobile program on it? or will you have to do this manually?
