SysAdmin Day
Today, the last Friday in July is SysAdmin Day. Who knew? I wished I would have learned about this sooner so that I could have atleast told my boss and received a pat on the back.
I’m actually a little sad because everyone has kept this a secret from me for the last seven years (that’s how long it’s been a holiday) and I never once got a cookie or even a “Thank You!” on my “day”. But seriously, now that I know everyone will know it’s my day next year.
It’s a day late and a dollar short, but great job Mr. System Administrator. Have you seen those commericials that say “This one goes out to the guy who takes off his shirt and cheers too much at sporting events” They are comical satires. Very funny if you ask me. So, Here’s to you Mr. System Administrator.
